Ru-Adventure provided as ever an excellent pre season trip.The ability to do so much work in ideal conditions is invaluable.Nigel was always available and helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly and the coaching sessions he provided were really well received by the boys. This in my many,many years of touring was without doubt the best tour i have been on. A group of 50 players and staff left Dublin for Canada and returned 2 weeks later having lived a truly momentous experience.The itinerary was jam packed, the accomodation and food were excellent and the rugby was perfect for our requirements.The real thing however that set this trip apart were the people we encountered along the way,they could not have been more helpful and it is a real testimony to you the organisers that we were treated with such friendship and respect at every juncture of our journey. We as a club will be returning with you in the very  near future and will be recommending your services to any group looking for a fantastic,professionally run tour . 2 really hard games which were both won, the first one played at the wonderful municipal Stadium will stay with the boys for a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit ,the experience is wonderful for the boys and there are several unique aspects to the trip that really ensures that the boys get to mix well such as the short walk for meals ,the communal tidying up and the French custom of embracing meal times as a time to relax ,converse and to stay at the table. We gave controlled access only to phones and this combined with the excellent food and action itinerary meant the boys had a wonderful time and were engaged when they were meant to be and were quiet when they were meant to be !! Enjoyed the fact that your skill sessions such as off loading allowed for errors whereas his coaches go nuts over a dropped ball hence never really develop the more tricky skill set .
That's a long winded way of saying he had a great time.

What a fantastic thing. J loved the camp once he got into it, and it has done him a world of good. Hes made new rugby contacts all over the world. He is a good player, but he had problems with his knees for about 18 months, and the damage it did to his confidence in his game was massive, as running fast was not an option, in fact they were so bad at one point he was struggling to play at all. He has come back a different lad, as hes had to make an impression with his ability and his voice with lads he didn't know, the biggest thing holding him back has been the lack of confidence in his own ability, and since his return home, his confidence is soo much better. Hi Nigel I have been meaning to email you for the last few weeks to say thank you for the magnificent week Adam had at your training camp at the end of July. He loved every thing about it and regrets that he didn't go last year as well. He started back playing competitively this week and was very impressive from the kick off and scored his first try of the season within minutes. The people at the game and his coaches have noticed an all round improvement in all aspects of his play. He attributes it to things he learned and his experience at your camp. Dear Muiriosa I want to congratulate to all the rugby staff. It has been a great and productive experience. Unfortunately my son has being ill, but the all staff has being very kind and helpfull, specially Nigel who was during the all night at hospital. I want to inform you that my son probably has mononucleosis, it is very contagious, not very serious but people with it needs to rest and not do exercise, it is very important. Our junior cup rugby squad enjoyed a wonderful couple of days in the south of France,we were returning but RU-Adventure ensured that the itinerary was full of new activities and places to see !! We love everything about our annual trip to Dublin with Ru adventure.The games were great and evenly contested ,we even managed to get a game played on the morning of the hurricane !! Our trip to France with RU Adventure was built around the school rugby vision of developing leadership and values through the game of rugby .The content of our trip proved truly inspirational for all participants and will have great value in the development of our pupils as both rugby players and people .We were privileged to have former Irish Captain Fergus Slattery speak to the boys on the morning of departure and former French Captain Jerome Thion do the same while in France ,these presentations plus an evenly matched game and lots of good coaching time and diverse activities led to a fantastic trip for all concerned . We have used RU-Adventure many times since 2006 and this trip was as good as all previous visits. Great trip , all the boys really enjoyed it.The victory over Biarritz was memorable after a great game,the second xv game was also well pitched .Saturday night in Biarritz was a great experience for all .All at Ru-Adventure were excellent and kept up the high standards of the previous years.

Ru-Adventure is a great company to tour with .The values of Roger Uttley are very much in evidence in the people you meet on the ground ,they tend to be like the man himself ,authentic ,old school and very friendly .There is a real personal touch to this company that sets it apart from the competition and makes it always a very memorable trip . Our trip with ru-adventure to France was brilliant .it was action packed with 2 games (very physical ) ,great activities ,25 degree heat ,a memorable top 14 atmosphere ,guest coaches and great hospitality .it was a brilliant chance to mould our JCT rugby group by taking them out of their comfort zone and to set out our stall as a rugby school .We as staff were all delighted with the content of the programme and the enjoyment  that all experienced. We hope to return in 2017 .

Our football trip was awesome. We had a great hotel, new activities that the boys really loved including a coaching session. The opposition was perfect and  played on beautiful pitches in very welcoming clubs . Hi Nigel I just wanted to send a short email on behalf of Blackrock RFC to thank you for what was an amazing U12 mini rugby graduation trip for our parents, coaches group of boys last weekend. It ran like clockwork thanks to huge amount of work you did behind the scenes not to mention looking after us from when we arrived up until when we left. Every aspect of the trip was great from surfing to hi wiring and of course playing the French clubs. The teams were all of equal standard making it very enjoyable to watch and for our kids to play. I would recommend this trip to any other clubs thinking of an away trip. Feel free to use me as a reference point.

A fantastic couple of days for the boys ,the match on the 4g pitch under lights against Biarritz Olympique was very special.The activities of surfing and hi wires were done in autumnal sunshine and everybody thoroughly enjoyed .We have been with RU-Adventure many times over the years and it is always a thoroughly enjoyable and professional experience .

We were delighted with our hugely SUCCESSFUL tour to japan both on and off the pitch, RU-adventures  personalised itineraries and local knowledge ensured a trip of a lifetime for all involved.

Huge Thank You to team RU Adventure. Having you there to meet us at the airport and to go through an changes to the final details/tweaking times etc.  was fantastic. It was great to have you so local and reassuring to have you turn up at fixtures to check all was well. The hotel was fantastic. All the staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us. It was brilliant that they were able to organise the washing of the kit for us too. Nothing was too much bother for them. The food was fantastic and could not have suited the boys (and staff!) any better. The final venue and dinner was just what we wanted and made for an excellent evening. Robert, our coach driver was great! Always on time, helpful friendly and great with boys. The fixtures and teams selected by Willow Park were perfect. The mixture of wins, losses and draws meant for a competitive tour. Our parents were also delighted with the trip and were very complimentary, not only about how well the boys were looked after but also for the programme arranged for them.

Not only did the boys play some brilliant rugby, they got to experience such a wonderful part of the world in a fun and exciting way. The boys had the best tour and having enjoyed every moment it allowed them to remain in good spirits and perform on the pitch. There was never a dull moment or a sad face, and the players will remember the tour for the rest of their lives

Kings hospital to Italy Our pre season trip to Italy was fantastic ,we travel each season with RU-Adventure  and we were not disappointed this year ,the strong connection with Mauro Bergamasco ensured we got access to the Zebra rugby team facilities and all our training requirements were met , our accommodation and food in particular were top notch, water park and the Ferrari museum were other highlights for the boys and as ever the network that RU have on the ground and pre trip could not of been more accommodating

To cater for so many teams, both boys and girls, over a 10 day period, is no easy task but the trip was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all including the staff.

On behalf of all at the Stade Francais professional Rugby team, a big thanks for the organisation of the trip. The facilities are fantastic. The food was perfect. The setting idyllic and the amount of work we were able to do in such a relatively short period of time was just what we were looking for.

We got everything we wanted out of the trip: plenty of pitch time and brilliant non-rugby activiites which challenged the boys and brought them together. Venue is perfect, safe and few distractions. We will be back same time next year.

In trying to set out our stall for the season this was the perfect start, great facilities, lots of food, great non-rugby activities like surfing and sailing etc. The boys were treated like professionals and responded accordingly in acting like pros. Our game was perfectly matched and played on a Saturday night under lights in front of a decent crowd which the boys loved. To have a director of rugby ( Richard Pool Jones ) from a Top 14 club like Stade Francais address the boys for an hour on leadership, what it takes to be a team player, discipline, respect, humility and other old school values was not only of huge benefit to boys of this age but makes our job for the season ahead much easier. Trip was fantastic and brilliantly organized. The venue was ideal for pre-season and the games were of a very high level which is just what we needed. We got back up to speed very quickly which was the goal.

The trip was great and the game played at the main Zebre Stadium ended in a 19 19 all draw, great camaraderie and hospitality afterwards, all in all a wonderful weekend of rugby many thanks to you and MAURO BERGAMASCO for all your help.

The trip was excellent. The activities were super and all instructors were bi-lingual. As ever the Bon Coin was an ideal end to the trip and Roger Uttley’s participation was a great added extra. All of our staff are in a agreement that it is an ideal setting for a trip of this nature.

Safety is a major concern for us and this venue is perfect for our ski trip, easily accessible, great instructors, excellent skiing, food and accommodation all in a very pleasant french town.

Hospitality, matches, activities and the overall experience were top drawer. The games changed my opinion of Canadian Rugby and it was an ideal environment to have a look at our next batch of senior players.

I can highly recommend RU Adventure. The facilities at the Souston base are exceptional and perfectly suited to the needs of our group. The very high level of attention provided by both Nigel Osbourne and Kevin O’Farrell ensured that all our needs were met and the tour proceeded seamlessly. Both have a real feel and understanding of the requirements of touring sides and make great efforts to ensure that the players and coaches have an enjoyable and valuable experience.

It was a great experience for the boys to train at a venue used by a number of French Top 14 clubs. The players were taken out of their comfort zone in terms of the intensity of the training but the boys showed their team spirit and unity by pulling together and proving the talent they have. They showed much skill in both attack and defence against Tyrosse and thoroughly deserved their win.
